Ex citer: Oil level / Oil change
Burn ing haz ard.
Work ing on the ex citer may cause a burn ing haz ard
from hot oil.
Wear safety equip ment (gloves).
Slowly, care fully open the oil drain age screw to re -
lease pres sure.

Col lect dis charg ing oil and dis pose of in an en vi ron -
men tally friendly man ner.
Do no al low it to en ter the ground wa ter, wa ter bod -
ies, or sew age sys tem.
Check / change ex citer oil when its warm.
APR 3520: The vent ing screw (3) must al ways first
be un screwed when check ing the oil level or
chang ing the oil.
When the dip stick is screwed in, the op ti mal oil
level is be tween the «MIN» and «MAX» lines.
8. Main te nance ma chine
•
Un screw vent ing screw (3), oil fill ing plug/dip stick (1) and oil
drain plug (2).
•
Drain-off old oil.
•
Screw-in oil drain screw (2).
•
Fill-in new oil through the oil fill hole (1). See lu bri ca tion plan
for quan tity and qual ity.
•
Re place oil fill ing plug/dip stick (1) and vent ing screw (3).
•
Un screw oil fill ing plug/dip stick (1), check the oil level again
and top up with oil if nec es sary.
