Re mo ve any fo reign bo dies from the bat te ry tray.

Cle an the ter mi nals and clamps, and lu bri ca te light ly with bat -
te ry grease.
•
When in stal ling, con nect the po si ti ve ter mi nal first and check
the ter mi nal clamps for a tight fit.
•
The se ope ra ting in struc tions must be kept with the vehicle's
user ma nu al.

Fil led bat te ries should be ful ly char ged (see Sec ti on ) be fo re

(using a damp, an ti sta tic cloth), tighten clamps and lu bri ca te
lightly.
