• Ensure correct polarity during insertion! Battery polarity symbols are shown in the battery
compartment.
• When the batteries are not in use, they should be kept away from other metal objects such as
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws and other small metal objects that could establish a
connection between poles. A short circuit between the battery poles may cause burns or a fire
to break out.
• Do not use damaged or modified rechargeable or single-use batteries or equipment. Defective
or modified batteries may behave unpredictably and may cause fire, explosion or injury.
• Do not expose a single-use or rechargeable battery or equipment to fire or excessive
temperature. Fire or high temperatures exceeding 130°C can lead to explosion.
• Never make modifications to the equipment! You must not modify or attempt to repair the
equipment or the rechargeable / single-use battery.
