Step
Description

Insert the plug of the control unit into the socket on the kiln.
The plug and socket have a geometric coding; they only fit into each other

in a certain position.
The wide lug on the plug must be at the top in the 12 o'clock position to

fit into the wide recess on the socket, also in the 12 o'clock position.
You may have to twist the plug a little until it completely clicks into the

socket.

Tighten the outer screw ring on the plug clockwise.
⇒ The control unit should never be placed on the kiln but should only be positioned in
the bracket provided for it.
⇒ Lay the control unit cable so that it does not touch the hot outer casing of the kiln
during operation.
⇒ Never lay the control unit cable in the gap between the stainless steel casing and
the leg of the stand. This can lead to damage to the cable or total failure of the
control system.
⇒ The control unit comes with a suitable bracket which can be attached to
the kiln or at the operation location (near the kiln or on a wall).
⇒ The bracket is attached with 2 bolts.
⇒ Observe the direction of the arrow while mounting the bracket (direction of
arrow = up).
⇒ Never place the control unit on the kiln but use the bracket instead.
⇒ When mounting on the kiln, the bracket is mounted on a suitable controller
mounting plate or the switch box. Please refer to the operating instructions
for the kiln.
⇒ When mounting on a wall, the bracket is screwed directly to a wall near
the kiln using the fastening material supplied.
⇒ The appropriate mounting material is included in the scope of delivery.
