Connecting the
Stereo
Use the illustrations below to connect your
stereo.
If you want to connect any optional
components
to the stereo, see
Optional Equipment" in Chapter 6.
STEP 1 | Connecting the
Flat Cord
Connect the supplied flat cord to the
SYSTEM CONTROL connectors with the
same color until it clicks.
To disconnect
the flat cord
Pull out the connector of the flat cord while
Pressing its sides. Do not pull the flat cord
itself.

STEP 2 | Connecting the
audio cabies
Connect the plugs to the jacks with the
same color.
Connect the LINE OUT jacks of the CD
player to the CD IN jacks of the
preamplifier
by using the supplied audio
cord.
Connect the LINE OUT jacks of the tuner
to the TUNER IN jacks of the preamplifier
by using the supplied audio cord.
Connect the LINE OUT jacks of the tape
player to the TAPE IN jacks
of the
preamplifier,
and the LINE IN jacks of the
tape player to the TAPE OUT jacks of the
preamplifier, by using the supplied audio
cords.
STEP 3 | Connecting the
FRONT SPEAKER L
4 Connect the right speaker to the
FRONT SPEAKER R connectoc and the
left speaker to the FRONT SPEAKER L
connector by using the supplied audio
2 Connect one end of the supplied power
cord to AC IN on the right speaker and
the other end to AC OUTLET on the
preampliher.
3 Connect one end of the other supphed
power cord to AC IN on the left
speaker
and the other end to AC
OUTLET
on the preamphher
To set up the speakers away from
the
Use 2 power cord and audio cord (sold
separately) to extend the length of the
connecting cords.
if you cannot find cords with plugs that ht
the cords provided with this system, contact
your nearest Sony dealer.
*Note: Extend it horizontally
