To erase a stored station
Store a new station at a previously used
preset station number. It will erase the old
station and replace it with the new station.
Assigning a name for a
preset station
(station name)
You can assign a name of up to II charac:
ters for each preset station. The station
name appears in the display every time you
tune in the preset station.
1 Tune in the preset station you would
like to assign
a name.
2 Press STATION NAME.
The CONTROLLER indicator, the
ENTER/NEXT indicator, and the cursor
(located at the first character) flash.
3 Tum CONTROLLER
to the - or + side
to select the character.
@ Press ENTER/NEXT.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 above to enter the
next character.
5 Press ENTER/NEXT cepeatedly.
The cursor moves to the right and
disappears;
the name is now memorized.

To erase the station

You can erase the station name by
changing all the characters of that name
into "spaces".

Playing Preset Radio
Stations
Once you have preset the stations, use the
CONTROLLER to quickly tune in your
favorite stations.
1 Press BAND repeatedly to select the
band you want.

"PRESET" appears in the display.

side to tune in a preset station.
The station frequency appears and the
system begins receiving the station.
To tune in a preset station directly
Use the buttons on the remote commander
to do this operation.
1 Press BAND to change the function
mode of the numeric buttons to "Tuner".
