The remote commander provided with thus
unit is equipped with TV and video
operation buttons, and can be used to
control the basic functions
of Sony
television
sets and video decks.
Mixing audio/video
sources
You can watch a TV o¢ video tape while
playing a CD or other such audio
equipment
as background music.
in other words, you can use the
FUNCTION buttons to select the
audio/visual sources.
For details, refer to the mstructions
of your
VCR.
1 Press one of the FUNCTION buttons (or
VIDEO FUNCTION on the remote
corrunander) to select the video that you
want to watch or edit. The red indicator
lights.
2 Press one of the FUNCTION buttons (or
AUDIO FUNCTION on the remote
commandes) to select the audio. The
video equipment that you selected
previously remains selected (but the
indicator changes to green), only the
audio is changed. (The corresponding,
red indicator hghts.)
3 Start playback on each of the selected
units
You can also record the selected audio and
video together by using other VCR. For
details on how to record the mixed audio
and video, cefer to their instructions
of each
equipment.
