Emphasis (digital
sound menu)
Your stereo system has been factory set to
12 speaally recommended audio emphasis
(Digital Sound Menu). You can emoy the
digital sound effects by just choosing from
the Digital Sound Menu according to the
program source.
1 Press DSP MENU.
The icon (mage) of the Digital Sound
Menu appears, and the CURSOR
CONTROL indicator and ENTER
indicator flash.
2 Select the Digita) Sound Menu by using
CURSOR CONTROL.

the remote commander
Press MENU + /=.
3 Press ENTER.
The selected Digital Sound Menu
displayed and the sound effect is stored.
To cancel the Digital Sound Menu
during the setting operation
Press CANCEL instead of ENTER in step 3:
the onginal display retums to the displey
window.
When the "PUSH -DIRECT-" display
appears
If you press DSP MENU while the unit is
in DIRECT mode, the PUSH -DIRECT-
display appears. Press DIRECT so that the
DIRECT indicator turns off and then make
your menu selection.
Press DIRECT.
The DIRECT indicator lights up.
The direct circuit on this urut passes the
music signals directly to the outputs
without sending them through the DSP.
This featuse <an be used when you want to
listen to the music in its pure, unprocessed
state.
