To turn off the Al condition
Press ENTER after setting all items to 0.
if you pause during the setting proceckive for
more than a minute
Although the screen saver display appears
and the icons flash sf you do not press any
of the buttons for more than a minute, the
setting procedure is not interrupted. Press
CURSOR CONTROL, ENTER, or
CANCEL, whichever is appropriate, and
continue with the setting procedure.

Storing the Program
Source, Volume and
Sound Effects (program
function)
By storing
a set of a frequently used
program source, a volume setting, and a
digita) sound menu, you can call them up at
the touch of a button.
Use the buttons on the unit to do this
operation.
Example: Set the program source
to tuner,
and the DSP
MENU
to "POPS".

1 ress TUNER and tune in the station
you want,
2 Adjust the volume by turing
VOLUME.
3 Press DSP MENU to display the Digital
Sound Menu, select "POPS" by pressing
CURSOR CONTROL ~<@. a A or ¥,
then press ENTER.
4 Keep pressing PROGRAM FUNCTION
until the stored settings appear.

After 3 seconds, the display returns to the
original screen.
To call up the Program Function
Press PROGRAM FUNCTION.
The settings appear in the display, and the
corresponding program source, volume and
Digital Sound Menu are called up.
If the program source is the CD player or
the cassette deck, the corresponding
component begins to play.
After 3 seconds, the original screen retums.
You can call up the settings when the power
is off
You can turn on the unit and call up the
settings just by pressing PROGRAM
FUNCTION.

Enjoying the Dolby
Surround Effects
This unit is equipped with Dolby Pra Logic
Surround, so that the movement and
positioning of the sound is reproduced with
a completely natural feel.
This mode is effective for video software
and TV broadcasts processed with Dolby
Surround. You can therefore reproduce the
sound image from a movie just as the
creators of the movie intended it.
To enjoy Dolby Surround, you need to
purchase additional equipment, including
tear speakers and a center speaker. (For
details on connections, see "Connecting
Optional Equipment." Also, see "Glossary.")

Sound Menu, select "D-SUR" by
pressing CURSOR CONTROL =a, p>.

you have connected.
