Do not use discs intended for wet cutting for dry cutting. Do not use water cooling for discs intended for dry cutting only or for
cooling the abrasive disc. For cooling, do not use other liquids than water. If the type of disc used allows for water cooling, it should
always be used.
This will allow reducing the amount of dust generated during operation and will extend the life of disc.
Diamond disc intended for dry cutting does not require water cooling, but its overload will lead to premature wear and may be a
cause of its damage, which may result in body injury.
It is recommended to remove the disc from the cut every 30 - 60 seconds, and let it rotate for approx. 10 seconds. This will allow
cooling the disc.
Never cut asbestos or asbestos-containing materials. The dust generated during asbestos cutting is particularly dangerous to
health and has been classifi ed as carcinogenic agent
Always use undamaged fastening fl anges with correct size, adapted to the cutting disc.
Correct fl anges that fasten the abrasive disc reduce the possibility of damaging the cutting disc.
If the disc has been fi tted with spacers, use them when mounting the disc. thickness of spacers must not exceed 0.5 mm.
Do not use worn-out discs coming from larger tools. The larger diameter disc is not adapted to higher rotational speed of smaller
tools and may crack.
Cutting should always be carried out after the wheel has been brought up to rated rotations. Do not change the speed of disc
during cutting.
Pay special attention when resuming cutting. First, bring the disc to the rated rotational speed, and then insert the disc carefully
into the cutting fi ssure.
If the disc becomes jammed in material being cut, immediately switch off the tool and keep it at standstill until the disc is completely
stopped. Never attempt to release the disc in motion. Such an action can cause a rebound towards the operator. Before resuming
the work, take measures to eliminate the cause of jamming.
Always fasten the element being cut. Fastening can be done by means of clamps, vices or similar devices that ensure a fi rm
and secure fastening of element being cut. If the element is supported, it should be supported in such a way that the fragments
of element being cut displaced during cutting do not cause the jamming of disc. Supports should be placed next to the edge of
element being cut, and also near the cutting line, on both its sides (III). If the element being cut-off is too small to be supported,
the supports should be placed as shown in fi gure (IV).
Safety rules related to storage of the product
The product should be stored in well-ventilated rooms. Fuel vapours are dangerous to the user and are fl ammable and can cause
a fi re or explosion. If the product is stored for more than a week, it is required to completely drain the fuel from the tank and the
installation. Keep the product away from heat sources, e.g. direct sunlight.
Storage place should prevent an access to the product of unauthorized persons, especially children.
Before the storage begins, discs should be disassembled from the product and stored separately. Discs should be stored in rigid
packaging that protects them against moisture.
Packaging should ensure safe transport of discs. Discs should be placed in such a way that they lie on a fl at surface. This will
prevent deformation of blades.
Safety rules related to maintenance and repair of the product
Repair the tool only at authorized service points, that use only original spare parts.
This will ensure proper safety at work with the tool. Do not clean the housing and covers made of rubber and plastic with gasoline,
solvent or other aggressive liquids. Only use high-quality agents for tool maintenance.
It is forbidden to use agents other than those mentioned in the user manual. It is permitted to use only accessories approved by
the manufacturer. The use of unsuitable equipment may lead to serious body injuries.
Current list of all spare parts along with their specifi cations can be found on manufacturer's websites in the product sheet.
PRODUCT HANDLING
Product preparation to work
Note! Unless otherwise specifi ed before starting all the operations described below, make sure that the product switch is in the off
position - O. Also ignition plug must be removed according to the procedure described below.
Adjustment of the cutterhead
Cutting disc is driven by means of a belt. Belt tension is adjustable. When using the cutter, belt tension and its condition should
be constantly monitored.
If the cutterhead was mounted in the cutter at the factory, tension the drive belt before the fi rst use. To do this, loosen the screws
that fi x the cover of cutterhead belt, but do not unscrew them completely (V). Then, by turning the tensioning screw, adjust the belt
tension so that the square nut is positioned between the tension markers (VI).
Tighten the fastening screws fi rmly to secure the set tension of the drive belt.
If the product was delivered with the disassembled head or if the drive belt needs to be replaced, proceed as follows.
Remove the cover of drive belt by unscrewing both fi xing screws (VII).
