SAFETY

3.1 Intended use

The Mixer HC is intended exclusively for indoor use and is for the temperature control and
mixing of aqueous solutions in closed, micro tubes (0.2 to 5.0 ml) and plates.
Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

3.2 User profile

This unit must only be used by skilled personnel with the appropriate training.
Before using the unit, read the user manual carefully and familiarise yourself with the unit's
mode of operation.

3.3 Note on product liability

In the following cases the protection provided in the unit may be impaired. The liability for the
function of the unit passes to the operator if:

The unit is not used in accordance with the user manual.
•
The unit is used outside the range of application described herein.
•
The unit is used with accessories or consumables (eg, tubes and plates) which are not
recommended by the manufacturer.
•
The unit is maintained or repaired by persons not authorised by the manufacturer.
•
Unauthorised modifications have been made to the unit.

3.4 Warnings for intended use
