MAINTENANCE

7.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the housing of the Mixer HC and the exchangeable thermoblocks. For further
information and detailed instructions for cleaning and disinfection contact your local distributor.
Danger! Electric shock as a result of penetration of liquid.
Switch off the unit and disconnect it from the power supply before starting to

clean or disinfect.
Do not allow any liquids to enter the inside of the housing.

Do not use spray disinfection.
i
Only reconnect the unit to the power supply once it is completely dry.
i
Caution when using aggressive chemicals.
Aggressive chemicals may damage both the unit and its accessories.
Do not use any aggressive chemicals on the unit and accessories such as strong or
i
weak bases, strong acids, acetone, formaldehyde, halogenated hydrocarbons or
phenol.
If the unit becomes contaminated with aggressive chemicals, clean it immediately
i
with a neutral cleaning agent.
Caution! Corrosion from aggressive cleaning agents and disinfectants.
Do not use corrosive cleaning agents, aggressive solvents or abrasive polishes.

Auxiliary aids
Lint-free cloth.
Mild, soap-based household cleaning agent.
Distilled water.
Cleaning the Mixer HC
Switch off the Mixer HC and isolate from the power supply.
Clean all of the outer parts of the Mixer HC with a mild, soap-based solution, using a lint-
free cloth.
Wipe off the soap solution with distilled water.
Dry all cleaned parts.
