7.2 Disinfection / Decontamination

Switch off the unit and disconnect it from the power supply before starting clea-

ning or disinfecting.
Do not allow any liquids to enter the inside of the housing.

Do not use spray disinfection.

Only reconnect the unit to the power supply once it is completely dry.

Auxiliary equipment
•
Lint-free cloth.
•
Disinfectant.
Disinfecting the Mixer HC
•
Switch off the Mixer HC and isolate from the power supply.
•
Allow the unit to cool down.
•
Disinfect the unit.
•
Select a disinfection method which complies with the legal requirements and regulations
applicable to your range of application.
•
Wipe the surfaces with the lint-free cloth and disinfectant.
7.3 Decontamination before shipping
If you are shipping the unit to the authorised Technical Service for repairs or to your local distri-
butor for disposal, please note the following:
Warning! Risk to health from contaminated unit
1. Follow the instructions for the decontamination supplied by your local distributor.
2. Decontaminate all the parts you want to dispatch.
3. Enclose the fully-completed decontamination certificate for returned goods (incl.
the serial number of the unit) with the dispatch.
