Clean the air cleaner
Clean the filter as described below.
1. Carefully use an air hose to blow the dust from the air
filter.
NOTE: Always apply air pressure to the mesh side of the
air cleaner element only. If you apply air pressure to the
EN
fabric side, dirt will be forced into the pores of the element,
restricting the air flow through the element.
2. Clean the dust on the air cleaner shell inside.
3. Reinstall the cleaned filter or new filter in reverse order
of removal. Be absolutely sure that the filter is securely

in position and is sealing properly.

If any defect such as clog, damage or dust
infiltration occurs,
instead of waiting until scheduled maintenance.
BCAUTION
If riding in dusty conditions or in moist conditions,
make the checking and replacement intervals for
the air filter element shorter; if it is found that
the air filter element is blocked, damaged or
non-dustproof, the engine power has dramatically
declined or the fuel consumption has increased, do
not solve the problem during the next maintenance
but immediately change the air filter element. If the
engine is started when there is no air filter element,
it will wear seriously. Check the condition of the air
filter element frequently because this component
usually has an impact on engine life.
OIL COLLECTING PIPES
After the air filter is checked, check
the oil collection of the oil collecting
pipes at its lower part. If there is
liquid in the oil collecting pipes, drain
it promptly with the method below.
