1. Stop the engine and support the
motorcycle on a flat ground with
the help of the main stand.
2. Start the engine and have it run
for 3 minutes.
3. After the engine has been stopped for 3 minutes.
4. Observe the the engine oil level via the engine oil
check window. The engine oil level should be between
the F line and the L line.
BCAUTION
If the engine oil level is lower than the "L line", do
not start the engine. When adding engine oil makes
sure the engine oil level is not higher than the "F
line".
Engine oil change
Replace the engine oil with new oil after the engine is in a
hot state to drain the original engine oil completely. Follow
the steps for engine oil replacement.
1. Stop the engine and support the motorcycle on flat
ground with the help of the main stand.
2. Remove the engine oil filler cap 1.

3. Place a drain pan below the engine. Dismantle the
drain plug 2 and its washer 3 to drain the original
engine oil.
4. Rotate the old washer 3 on the drain plug 2, remove
the old washer 3, and replace with a new washer 3.
5. After draining all the engine oil, install the drain plug
2 and its washer 3.
6. Fill 1100 milliliter of new engine oil into the engine via
the oil filling port of the cap.
7. Replace the seal on the engine oil filler cap 1 with a
new one.
8. Install the engine oil filler cap 1.
9. Start the engine and have it run for 3 minutes.
10. Stop the engine and check the engine oil with the
dipstick 3 minutes later. The engine oil level should
be between the F line and the L line.
Use the engine oil recommended in the "ENGINE
OIL" section.
