To quickly switch between tables to generate different curve characteristics, you can transfer data
from two tables into the SAS system location using SAS:TABLe:UPDate ahead of time, and then
instantly switch the power stage from one to the other using SAS:TABLe:SELect. The tables will be
switched without turning the output off.
It is also possible to use the SAS:TABLe:ACTivate command to perform the same function as
SAS:TABLe:UPDate and SAS:TABLe:SELect. However, because it takes a considerable amount of time
to load data from memory into the SAS system, you cannot instantly switch from one table to another
using only the SAS:TABLe:ACTivate command.
A sequence of tables can be executed by loading a table into table1 and selecting it. Then a new table
can be loaded into table2 and selected. A third table can then be loaded into table1 and so on.

You can update both tables in the SAS system.
l
Updating a table that is presently selected will impact the running curve.
l
The update command only updates the table. It does not select the table.
l
Once loaded into the SAS system, you can then use the SAS:TABLe:SELect command to run the table.
You can also use this command to switch between the two tables in the SAS system location without
turning off the output.
