Layout and installation
"PP Start" input (pre-proportioning)
The pre-proportioning is carried out using a zero-potential wiping contact (t
input IN2.
"Prop. Lock" (proportioning lock)
The proportioning lock input is used to lock the regulator if the cleaning solution is not
circulating (mixing).
An external normally open contact at input IN1 releases the conductivity controller output
SP1. If the contact is open, the controller is locked.
Level input
A zero-potential contact (reed switch) or level electrodes can be used to detect the
product supply level in the detergent container.
(Contact closed or electrodes wet = container full)
The level input is protected against interference by galvanic isolation.
The threshold for the level input is set between 500 W and 1 kW.
NOTICE!
In the event of a chemical shortage, relay output SP1 is blocked, the error
message 'Empty signal E1' is shown in the display and the fault message
output is activated. The fault message is acknowledged by pressing any key.
However, the entry on the display continues to flash until the fault has been
resolved.
Measuring cell input
The 7-pole measuring cell connection cable is equipped with a round plug.
The basic measuring cells have a line length of 0.2 m.
The measuring cell connection cable can be extended up to a maximum of 20
m.
Three different measuring lead extensions are available for this purpose: 3 m,
6 m and 20 m.
Due to the measuring principle, coupled faults can lead to changes in the
measured value. It must be ensured that the measuring cell and measuring
lead are installed in an interference-free environment. If this is not possible,
suitable additional installations must be put in place.
