Pre-proportioning and pre-proportioning delay time
The initial preparation of a cleaning solution is carried out using time/quantity-controlled
pre-proportioning. The pre-proportioning time is set in the 'Settings' menu on the
'Conductivity' screen (40).
A delay time for pre-proportioning (= delayed start of pre-proportioning) can also be set on
the 'Pre-proportioning Delay Time and Proportioning Time ' screen (51). This prevents the
detergent proportioning from taking place before a minimum fill level has been reached in
Ä 'Pre-proportioning delay time and proportioning time' on page 52
the detergent tank.
Pre-proportioning works on the relay output OUT3 (factory setting).
Post-proportioning (make-up) with metering time limit (relay output SP1)
Automatic post-proportioning (make-up) is performed using relay output SP1 and is limited
using the set maximum proportioning time. The maximum proportioning time is specified
in the 'Settings' under 'Controller Settings Setpoints 1 and 2' (see
for setpoints 1 and 2' on page 51 ).
The activation of the SP1 relay is indicated by the
Post-proportioning if started if:
n
The conductivity controller is enabled by closing the proportioning lock input and an
underconcentration is measured (actual value < nominal value SP1).
Post-proportioning is interrupted if:
n
The measured conductivity value exceeds the switching threshold of SP1
n
Pre-proportioning is started
n
The proportioning lock input is opened
n
The product supply container is empty
n
The nominal value is not reached despite the addition of detergent and the set
maximum proportioning time has expired
Display: 'Dosing time exceeded error E2'
Fault message output active.
NOTICE!
The switching function can be reversed in 'Setup' under 'Invert Setpoints' (see
Ä
'Invert setpoints' on page 0
Relay output SP2
The relay output SP2 is controlled by the freely adjustable limit value SP 2. It works
independently of SP1. The limit value SP2 can be used for additional functions
(e.g. overconcentration message).
NOTICE!
Switch function set at the factory: SP2 relay ON at
actual value > limit value SP2
The switching function can be reversed in 'Setup' under 'Invert Setpoints' (see
