Installation
Mechanical Installation
Installation of the conductivity measuring and control device LMI03
The LMI03 conductivity measurement and control device is designed as a wall-mounted
device and is secured using four screws.
When mounted on a wall, the cable glands must be located on the underside of the
device.
WARNING!
The device must be mounted in an area that cannot become chemically
contaminated.
Otherwise, there is a risk of damage to the housing, which may result in
components that conduct mains voltage no longer being adequately protected
against contact.
Pipe installation (flow fitting)
WARNING!
The lateral bore of the measuring cell must be aligned parallel to the pipe's
axis, i.e. in the flow direction of the medium.
NOTICE!
Deviations can lead to incorrect measurement values (eddy formation).
The installation position can be checked using the marking arrows on
the measuring cell adapter. The preferred installation position is in vertical
pipelines with flow direction from bottom to top.
The distance between the conductivity value transducer and unit must
not exceed 20 m.
