DANGER!
Risk due to electrical voltage
All electrical work must be carried out only by trained and authorised specialist
personnel in accordance with the currently applicable CE directives or the
relevant local regulations.
Disconnect the voltage supply and secure it against being switched back on
inadvertently.
WARNING!
The device must be operated only using a mains voltage phase (L1-N). It is not
permissible to introduce other mains voltage phases into the device.
WARNING!
Risk of injury from electrical current
Specialist personnel must ensure that the device and external peripherals are
always adequately earthed, including during installation and de-installation.
– Connect all existing earth connections to an earthing bus individually and
directly.
– UL-compliant ring cable lugs must be used for all earth connections.
– Earth cables must be designed for the maximum supply fault current
normally limited by fuses or motor circuit breakers.
NOTICE!
Notes on electrical installation:
– The area with the mains voltage connections is spatially separated from the
low-voltage signals.
– External peripherals must be fused separately.
– The requirements for all supply and connection cables, such as minimum
cross-section, current-carrying capacity, type, length and flammability
(VW-1 according to UL 2556 or IEC 60332 series), must also be observed
depending on the rated value for the power supply. The rated value of the
power supply must not exceed 230 V.
– The LMI03 does not have an all-pole isolation device for the supply,
especially not for external peripherals. This must be provided on-site and
be easily accessible externally. This requirement can be met using a
mains switch or an automatic circuit breaker, provided that they comply
with IEC 60947-1 and IEC 60947-3. An appliance plug that remains easily
accessible after installation is also permitted.
