Preparation
1.
Run the flush function (see
on page 24
);

Disinfect the tank irrigation circuit as
described in
Chapter 8.1.1 on page
30.
3.
Check that all of the following
accessories have been removed/
disconnected from the machine core
unit (see
Chapter 7 on page 26
• Power supply cable;
• Pedal;
• Scaler handpiece;
• Inserts.
CAUTION: The cleaning and sterilising
operations described in the following
sections are to be performed at first use and
at all subsequent uses.
8.1.1
Disinfecting the Tank Irrigation Circuit
After performing the pump/flush function (see
the subsequent cleaning procedures, proceed to disinfect the tank irrigation circuit.
To disinfect the irrigation circuit, proceed as follows:
» REQUIRED MATERIALS
• CIDEX® OPA disinfectant solution;
» PROCEDURE
Disconnect the irrigation solution tank
from the machine core unit, pulling it
outwards;

CAUTION: Always disconnect the insert
from the handpiece before cleaning and
sterilising it.
CAUTION: Do not immerse the handpiece
