What is APSS.(Auto Program Search System)? -
APSS is a device which automatically searches for the beginning of individual selections
so they can easily be played from the start.

Note
The APSS
device operates by searching for unrecorded sections on
+ Tapes with the entire selections recorded at low levels (less than

tapes.
It may, however,
not function properly

While the tape is playing, push the PAUSE { 11) button and then either the
FAST FORWARD
(PP) or the REWIND
{<4} button.
The tape will automatically stop when it reaches the end or beginning of
the selection you are listening to.
Note AAA
If nothing is recorded on the tape, it will run to its beginning or end.
Push the PAUSE { II ) button to cancel operation when the tape winds
to its end,
