5. SEALING A BAG FROM VACUUM BAG FILM

Open the lid of your appliance (4) and clip the cutting
blade (6) upwards. Lie the vacuum film in the vacuum
film chamber (5) (see fig. A) and pull the end of the
film towards you.

Press the cutting blade (6) back down, the film lies
underneath it (see fig. B).
Warning: When pressing down the cutting blade,
make sure that the handle is to the far left or far right
of the blade. It must not be in the middle, otherwise
it won't cut the film properly (see fig. B).

Pull the film until it is the correct length for the
necessary bag and slide the cutting handle in one
stroke to the left or right to the other end of the rail
(see fig. C).
Now you can seal the end of the bag.

The appliance cover should still be in the open posi-
tion.

Lay the open end of the bag onto the rubber contact
seal (9) (see fig. D).
