7. Check that the pressure equalizer hose is attached to the collector bin, see
Figure 14.
8. Check that the collector bin seals properly once vacuum is re-applied to
the dust separator.
CAUTION!
Never operate the unit without a Nederman antistatic plastic bag.
10.4 Replacing the main filter, control filter and filter bags
WARNING!
Always disconnect the supply voltage with the maintenance switch before any
service, whether mechanical or electrical. Always lock the maintenance switch
in the off position.
WARNING!
Ensure that there is no vacuum present in the system during service.
WARNING!
Always disconnect the compressed air supply before any service.
WARNING!
Use proper lifting and protective equipment.
10.4.1 Main filter and control filter
Replace the whole main filter and the control filter after approximately
6,000 hours of operation and at least every 3 years. Also, replace the control
filter if damaged or if there is a considerable pressure drop over the control
filter.
To replace the main filter:
1. Remove the main filter according to Figure 15.
2. Put the old filter in a large plastic bag, or wrap it in plastic foil, see Figure
16.

3. Install the new main filter.
NOTE!
After installing the new main filter, check that the filter bags are
correctly grounded, see Section '8.3.2 Ground check measurement'.
To replace the control filter:
1. Disconnect the exhaust from the unit, see Figure 18, item 1.
2. Remove the top cover from the unit, see Figure 18, item 2.
3. Remove the clamping ring securing the hose and filter lid to the inlet, see
Figure 18, item 3.
4. Put the hose and filter lid aside and remove the control filter by lifting it
straight up, see Figure 18, item 4.
5. Put the old filter in a plastic bag, or wrap it in plastic foil, see Figure 16.
