Main fuse change

The main fuse of the machine is damaged.
M 1. Turn off the machine at the main power switch and disconnect the
machine from any electrical source and the compressed air supply.
M 2. Remove the cable of the power supply at the connection panel.
M 3. Remove the cover of the fuse (bottom part of the power supply sock-
et, see Illustration 14)
M 4. Remove the damaged fuse and replace the damaged fuse by a new
fuse.
Only use a glass fuse of the type T6.3A L250V as replacement fuse. A new
main fuse is available as spare part at vhf.
M 5. If you don't have a replacement fuse ready, take the replacement fuse
from the right side of the fuse cover and put it into the left side of the
fuse cover.
M 6. Remount the fuse cover.

Maintenance compressed air
Please check regularly if there is liquid in the water separator of the service unit
and empty it if necessary by opening the discharging screw (see Illustration 4
on page 22). The condensate will be blown out under pressure. Conden-
sate in the separator usually points to compressed air being not dry enough.
Please note our guidelines for air purity in chapter 4.3.
In case of strong dirt accumulation the filter element in the water separator
has to be cleaned or exchanged. A strongly polluted filter element may cause
a loss of air pressure.
M 1. Separate the machine from the compressed air source.
M 2. Unscrew the bowl of the water separator.
M 3. Turn out the filter screw under the filter element.
M 4. Pull out the filter element.
A new filter element is available as spare part at vhf.
