Intended use of the machine
The machines of the Impression S models have been designed for easy to me-
dium milling works in the field of dental technology. It has to be considered
that the machine cannot withstand all powers that can possibly occur during
operation.
Only use the machine commercially.
The machines are designed to process the following materials:
wax
„
„
most of the plastic materials (e.g. PMMA)
„
„
composites
„
„
zirconium oxide
„
„
non-precious alloys (CoCr - based)
„
„
The machine can get damaged, if it is used for another purpose than de-
scribed above. The protective devices may not be avoided or turned off.
The instructions of this manual have to be followed and the maintenance
procedures have to be executed as described.
The machine may only be operated with original equipment from vhf, to
keep up the safety of the product and the warranty of the machine. The user
carries the risk of damage to the machine if non-authorised equipment is
used!
Wet grinding is exclusively permitted by using the wet grinding module from
vhf.
The warranty expires, if you modify the machine or take off the housing with-
out a written agreement of the vhf service department!
Unattended operation
The machine may run unattended, if the national and local laws are regarded.
Besides that the requirements of the respective insurance company have to
be met. The following requirements have to be met in any case, if the ma-
chine is run unattended:
The working chamber of the machine has to be cleaned completely.

Unauthorized persons may not have access to the machine.

Don't change between dry processing and wet grinding.
„
„
During wet grinding precautions have to be met, if fluid should leak.

The room, in which the machine is standing, needs to have an automatic

fire detection system.
