When used in accordance with the metrological suitability test
compliant with EN IEC 62990-1, EN IEC 60079-29-1 or
EN 50104, the resistance must not exceed 300 ohms. Further
information on installing the fieldbus interface is provided in
document 9033783.

Digital connection with controller
Power supply
1) If the distance between the controller and the transmitter is very long
(>1 km) and the power supplies of the controller and the transmitter
are separate, interference or differential differences can occur. In this
case, 3-core cabling with ground must be selected. Ground is then
connected to the transmitter and looped through to the ground of the
controller.

Operating voltage
Inrush current
1) At supply voltages of < 7 V DC the instrument provides a fault signal.
The warning signal "undervoltage" depends on the connected load at
the 4-20 mA output and the cable resistance. In case of lower load
(e.g. 230 Ω), the fault relay drops out and the current output is 0 mA.
In case of higher load (e.g. 500 Ω), warning message 011 is indicated.
