Power-up mode

When the system is switched on using the key switch (1, Fig. 8) on the
VISULAS YAG III control unit, the starting screen appears on the control
panel. The instrument is now in Power-up mode (Fig. 20).

The system automatically performs a self-test. The starting screen
includes a progress bar showing the progress of the system test. The
following actions are carried out and the following tests and
initialisation routines run during the self-test:
• The system is switched on and initialised
• The system monitor is started
• The watchdog circuit is tested and then activated
• The energy power down is tested
• Internal laser shots are fired and energy values determined for each
pulse mode
When the system test has been successfully completed, the program
switches into Treatment STANDBY mode (Fig. 22).
You can switch directly into Diagnosis mode during the system test
by touching the ECO button.
