Trace checkbox
Selects the trace to display for the output. If no checkbox is enabled, data log-
ging will not logged for the selected output.
Configures the voltage/division, current/division, power/division and offsets
for each output.
Time/Division
Configures to zoom in or out of the data so that you can view waveform
details. The numbers on the top of the display indicate the location of the data
that is being viewed relative to the entire data log. Specified in time/division
on the x axis. Applies to ALL traces.
Offset
Configures the waveform location (right or left) of the timebase reference. The
trigger point is indicated by the solid arrow .
Duration
Configures the duration of the data log in hours, minutes, and seconds. The
maximum duration is 10,000 hours (for Load mode) and 21,845 hours (for
Power Supply mode).
Sample Period
Configures the interval between data samples in milliseconds.
Load mode: 200 ms to 60 s
Power Supply mode: 20.48 µs to 60 s
Trigger Pos
Trigger Position specifies a trigger offset. This allows the specified time of pre-
trigger data to be logged to the file. For example, if you specified a data log
duration of 30 s and a trigger position of 50%, the Data Logger will log 15 s of
pre-trigger data to the file before the trigger occurs. Subsequently, 15 s of
post-trigger data will then be logged to the data file.
Log Min/Max checkbox
When enabled, lets you log the minimum and maximum values of each sample
to the data log file. With Log Min/Max checked, the resulting file size will
triple.
Required memory
Indicates the file size when the data log completes. The maximum file size is 5
MB. If settings exceed this limit, the logging interval will automatically
increase to keep the size within the limit. If the file size exceeds the available
space on the drive to which it will be written, an error is generated and the
Data Logger will not run.
