Pulling trailers
WARNING

tute for the safety manual. It is assumed that the safety manual has been read and under-
stood.
The TP48 Transporter displays extraordinary stability. Nevertheless, the following recom-
mendations should be observed:
•
Before work:
-
Prior to driving over unfamiliar or steeply sloping terrain, walk over it and check wheth-
er it is able to bear the load and provide sufficient traction.

During work:
-
On steep slopes lock the inter-axle differential.

If one wheel starts to spin, engage the differential lock.

If the front wheels drift excessively on the slope, lock the front axle only.
-
Arrange turning places where the slope is least.
-
Divide up the work so that it is not necessary to drive over areas where the slope is
steepest with the full set of implements.
The TP48 is also basically suitable for pulling trailers.

WARNING
When connecting a trailer for the first time make sure that no damage to vehicle or trailer can
occur when making a tight turn. The hydraulic and brake connections to the trailer must never
come under tension or become kinked.
