Double tyres
NOTE
Fitting double wheels:
The ring nuts must be firmly tightened and located in the end position with the opening to-
wards the rim. Do not turn the ring nuts back in order to reach the final position. The spring
rings supplied must be fitted.
Tip: Drive the vehicle with the inner wheel on a wooden plank.
Now fit the double wheel with the cutout aligned with the locating pins. Lead the hooks
through the closure device and screw on the stop nuts on the outside. Engage the hooks of
the closure devices and tighten the cam closures. Pretension the lever to 50 kg force with the
supplied pipe key. Adjust the safety nut with 24 mm key. Check the double wheels periodi-
cally during use to ensure they are mounted firmly. The double wheel must not be able to
move on the transporter wheel. When connecting and disconnecting, the ring nuts must be
checked each time to ensure that they are firmly in position.
WARNING
If the vehicle is to be driven, first remove the tubular spanner. Danger of accident.
