"Before each use of the vehicle" and "During use"
Inspection of the vehicle underside, visual check for oil leaks on the en-
gine,
transmission and axles
Check tyre pressure
Check battery-acid level
Check electrical equipment
Check brake-fluid level (DOT 4 or higher)
Change brake fluid (DOT 4 or higher, at least once every 2 years)
Have brake linings checked
Grease nipples, oil linkages and pivot points
Check inspection glass on the fuel filter
Replace fuel filter
Flush fuel tank
Change air-filter element
Check coolant fluid level in the compensation reservoir
Clean cooling system and replace coolant mixture (at least once every
2 years)
Check tension of the drive-belt on the engine
Check valve clearance
Tighten cylinder-head bolts
Check play in drive clutch
Check play in PTO clutch
Check screws and nuts (incl. wheel nuts)
Change engine oil (at least once a year)
Change the engine oil-filter cartridge
Carry out tightness check on hose supplying engine with combustion
air
Change oil filter (pressure filter)
Clean the gearbox oil coarse intake filter
Check the transmission oil (transmission, front and rear axle, inter-axle
differential)
Change the transmission oil (front and rear axle, inter-axle differential)
Check the transmission oil/hydraulic fluid
Change the transmission oil/hydraulic fluid (at least once a year)
Check all hoses (hydraulic system, air, radiator, fuel, brake fluid) for
wear, chafing points, mechanical damage, etc., (at least once a year)
and replace them if necessary
