14. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
1. The engine does
not start or does
not keep running

Remove the spark plug (Fig. 26) and gently
pull the starter rope knob (Fig. 14.I) to
eliminate excess fuel; then dry the spark plug
electrodes and reassemble on the engine.

Stop the machine and disconnect
the spark plug cable (Fig. 14.H,).
