C C A A U U T T I I O O N N - - Always make sure that all persons and equipment are away from the area below and around the Fowler before
you activate the CPR release. The CPR release is for emergency use only.
When you raise the Fowler and need quick access to the patient, you can position the product to 0° by activating the CPR
release.
You can find the two CPR release levers at the head end section on both the left and right sides of the Fowler (A) (Figure 6).
To activate the CPR release:
1. Grasp and squeeze the lever on either side of the Fowler.
2. Guide the Fowler to the flat position.
