5.1

Sensor connections

Switch the entire machine/system off line!
While you are connecting the safe bus node UE4215 or connecting other devices, the
machine may start unintentionally.
Ensure that the entire machine/system is disconnected during the electrical installation.
Do not connect the inputs to an external potential!
Ensure that external potential is not applied to the inputs on the safe bus node UE4215,
as otherwise correct function cannot be ensured.
Always cover AUX PWR socket when it is not in use!
Always cover the AUX PWR socket with the enclosed sealing cap if it is not used, as
otherwise the IP 67 enclosure rating will not be achieved.
