Response times

The response time corresponds to the propagation time in the safe bus node UE4215. This
is the maximum time required, i.e. also in case of a fault, between the shut down of the
sensor outputs and the availability in the AS7interface chip in the safe bus node.
To calculate the safety distance for a protective device you must also take into account:
the response time of the ESPE connected to the safe bus node UE4215
the response time of the safe bus node UE4215
the response time of the safety monitor
the stopping/run-down time of the machine or system
Information on the response times of the corresponding devices can be found in the
related operating instructions.
