1. General warnings

1. Before using a fall-prevention anchoring
device, to ensure safe, efficient use of the
equipment it is essential that the user reads
and understands the information given in the
manual supplied by TRACTEL SAS. This
manual should be available at all times to all
operators. Additional copies can be supplied
on request.
2. Before use, it is essential that users receive
training in the use of this safety device. Check
the condition of associated equipment and
make sure that there is adequate room for
movement.

3. A fall-prevention anchoring device must only
be used by one or two trained and skilled op-
erators, or by one or two operators under the
supervision of a competent user.
4. If a fall-prevention anchoring device does not
appear to be in good condition or has already
arrested a fall, the whole equipment ensemble
should be inspected by TRACTEL SAS or by
a qualified technician who must give written
authorisation for re-use of the system. It is ad-
visable to carry out a visual inspection prior
to each use.
5. The equipment is not to undergo any mod-
ification or addition without prior written
