9. Equipment compliance

hereby declares that the safety equipment de-
scribed in this manual:
• Complies with the requirements of European
Directive 89/686/EEC of December 1989.
• Is identical to the equipment that was inspect-
ed for compliance by APAVE SUDEUROPE
SAS – CS 60193 – 13322 Marseille – France,
identified under the number 0082, and tested
according to standards EN 795-A: 2012 for 1
operator and TS 16415: 2013 for 2 operators,
depending on the equipment.
10. Marking
The markings on Tractel
ing devices indicate:
a. The trade name, TRACTEL
b. The product name, if applicable.
c: The reference standard(s) followed by the
year of application.
d. The product reference, e.g. 064488.
g. The serial number or solar date marker, as
applicable.
h. A pictogram showing that the manual must be
read before installation and use.
w. Working load limit.
o. Minimum breaking strength of the anchoring
device.
p. Maximum number of operators who can
simultaneously use the travsafe™ PA, trav-
flex™ ringflex and travsafe™ PO anchoring
devices.
aa. Date of the next periodic review.
ae. Date of entry into service.
af. Anchoring device to arrest a person's fall.

11. Periodic inspection and repair
An annual periodic inspection is required, but
depending on the frequency of use, environmen-
tal conditions and regulations of the company or
the country of use, periodic inspections may be
more frequent.
Periodic inspections shall be carried out by an
approved and competent technician, and in
accordance with the manufacturer's inspection
procedures as laid down in the file "Verification
procedures for TRACTEL
Confirmation of the legibility of the product mark-
ings should be an integral part of the periodic
inspection.
On completion of the periodic inspection, the
return to service must be indicated in writing by
the authorised and competent technician who
carried out the inspection. This return to service
must be recorded on the inspection sheet in the
middle of this manual. This inspection record
should be retained throughout the product's life
cycle, up until it is recycled.
After arresting a fall, this product must undergo
a periodic inspection as described in the current
article. The product's textile components must
be changed, even though they may not display
any visible changes.
12. Lifespan

– Normal use, in accordance with the recom-
mended usage in the current manual.
– A periodic inspection, which must be per-
formed at least once a year by an approved
and competent technician. On completion of
this periodic inspection, it must be certified
