3.11 Adjustment of the regulation actions

3.11.1 Manual adjustment of the P-I-D
While the autotune procedure is perfectly satisfactory in most cases, it may sometimes be
necessary to touch up the adjustments, if for example the regulation is modified or if a very
fine adjustment is desired.
Before you modify the adjustments, we strongly recommend recording the current values so
that they can if necessary be restored. Change only one parameter at a time, in small steps,
and observe the reaction of the regulation. Since each of the parameters influences the
others, it is very easy to make mistakes.
