When a change is made from one type of input to another, the "SP1L" and "SP1H"

setpoint limits must be readjusted.
3.5.7 Programming the type of alarm
Output 2 can be configured in alarm mode. There are 4 alarm modes and 6 types
MODES
Normal alarm: ALMD = NORM
When normal alarm is selected, the alarm is deactivated in a non-alarm situation and
activated in an alarm situation.
Latched alarm: ALMD = LTCH
In an alarm situation, the alarm remains activated even if the condition disappears.
The latched alarm is cleared by pressing the RESET key once the condition that caused the
alarm has been corrected.
Alarm with first alarm disabled: ALMD = HOLD
This alarm mode prevents untimely tripping during the temperature rise of a process. The
alarm is not activated until the system reaches its setpoint. The alarm is then like a normal
alarm.
Latched alarm with first alarm disabled: ALMD = LT.HO
This mode combines the two actions described above
