d) Keep the power tools out of the
reach of children when not in use.
Do not allow anyone to operate
the power tool who is not familiar
with it, or who has not read these
instructions. Power tools are dan-
gerous when used by inexperienced
persons.
e) Carefully maintain power tools and
insert tools. Check whether moving
parts function properly and do not
bind, check whether parts are bro
ken or damaged in such a way that
the functionality of the power tool is
affected. Have any damaged parts
repaired before using the power
tool. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with
sharp cutting edges are less likely to
jam and are easier to control.
g) Use power tools, insert tool, insert
tools, etc. according to these
instructions. Take the working
conditions and the task to be com
pleted into account. Using the power
tool for purposes for which it was not
intended may result in a hazardous
situation.
h) Keep handles and grip surfaces dry,
clean and free of oil and grease.
Slippery handles and grips do not
allow safe operation and control of the
power tool in unforeseen situations.
Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by
a qualified technician using only
original spare parts. This ensures
that the safety of your power tool is
maintained.

Safety instructions regarding
multitools
- Hold the multi-tool by the insulated
gripping surfaces when carrying out
work where the insert tool may hit hid-
den power lines. Contact with a live
line can also apply voltage to metal
parts of the appliance and lead to an
electric shock.
- Always wear protective goggles and a
dust mask, especially when sanding.
- Wear ear defenders.
- Wear protective gloves when changing
insert tools. Insert tools become hot
during prolonged use.
- Do not use the multi-tool for wet
sanding.
- Only use the sandpaper supplied.
Paper protruding above the sanding
disc can cause serious injury.
- Never expose the multi-tool to high
temperatures (heating etc.) or weather
conditions (rain etc.).
- Keep your hands away from the
working area. Do not reach under the
workpiece. There is a risk of injury if
there is contact with the saw blade or
scraper.
- Secure the work piece. A work piece
held in place with tensioner or vice
is held more securely than with your
hand.
- Do not scrape wet materials (e.g. wall-
paper) and do not scrape on damp
surfaces.
