The tool must not be mounted until the
extraction duct (13) has been fastened.
Only use undamaged and faultless insert
tools to ensure the safety and quality of
the work.
The tool holder (6) of the multi-tool
allows the tool to be mounted in various
positions by means of a quick gripping
mechanism.
1. Open the tensioning lever (2) com-
pletely by folding it down as far as
it will go (see Fig. C). If necessary,
remove an insert tool that is already
mounted.
2. Place the tool at the desired angle
on the tool holder (see Fig. E). When
using the plunge cut saw blade (7),
make sure that you insert the tool the
right way round (see Fig. F).
3. Put on the clamp guard (1) (see
Fig. D).
4. Close the tensioning lever so that it
clicks into place.
5. Make sure the tool is firmly attached.
Attach/replace the sanding sheet on
the sanding disc
Attach the desired sanding sheet (10) to
the sanding disc (9) with the Velcro fas-
tener. Make sure that the sanding sheet
does not protrude.
The sanding sheet must be completely
attached to the sanding disc with the
Velcro fastener and must not curl.
To ensure optimal dust extraction, make
sure that the punched holes in the sand-
ing sheet match the holes on the sand-
ing disc.

- To remove the sanding sheet, grasp it
by one tip and pull it off the sanding
disc.
5 – Working
Preselect the frequency of
vibrations
With the vibration frequency preselec-
tor (4), you can set the vibration fre-
quency variably in the range between
15 000 min
-1
and 23 000 min
marks the minimum vibration frequency,
level 6 the maximum vibration frequen-
cy. You can change the vibration fre-
quency while the multi-tool is switched
on.
- To set the vibration frequency, turn
the vibration frequency preselector to
the desired level.
The required vibration frequency
depends on the material and the
working conditions and must be deter-
mined by a practical test.
Switching the multitool on and
off
- To switch on the multi-tool, push the
on/off switch (3) to position 1.
- To switch off the multi-tool, slide the
on/off switch to position 0.

Saws
Only use undamaged saw blades that
are in perfect condition. Bent or blurred
saw blades can break, negatively affect
the cut or cause kickback.
The plunge cut saw blade (7) and the
segment saw blade (8) can be mounted
