8 – Troubleshooting
Some malfunctions can be caused by minor faults that you can rectify yourself. Follow
the instructions in the table below.
If this does not solve the problem with the multi-tool, contact the customer service.
Problem
The handle (11) or the
multi-tool cannot be
mounted.
The extraction duct (13) or
the extraction adapter (12)
is loose/always falls off.
The multi-tool cannot be
switched on.
After switching on the
multi-tool, the tool holder

Troubleshooting
− Always keep the thread clean as
described in the chapter „Cleaning and
maintenance".
− Contact the manufacturer's customer
service and have the damaged or
defective part replaced.
− Attach the extraction duct to the
housing of the multi-tool using the
retaining clip (14).
− Press the extraction adapter firmly onto
the connection piece of the extraction
duct and turn it anticlockwise to fix it.
− Keep the on/off switch clean as
described in the chapter „Cleaning and
maintenance".
− Contact the manufacturer's customer
service and have the damaged or
defective part replaced.
− Unplug the power cable from the
socket and vacuum the space between
the tool holder with a vacuum cleaner
if necessary.
− Contact the manufacturer's customer
service.
− If necessary, vacuum the vibration
frequency preselector and the space in
between with a vacuum cleaner.
