Declaration of information

Given below are some symbols and
signal words used in these operating
instructions.
This indicates a dangerous situation
which, if not prevented, may result in
death or serious injury.
This indicates a dangerous situation
which, if not prevented, may result in
minor or moderate injury.
NOTE
This warns of potential material damage.

Intended use

The multi-tool is intended only for private
use for hobby and DIY applications for
the following purposes:
• for sawing and separating wooden
materials, plastic, gypsum, nonferrous
metals and securing elements (e.g.
nails, staples).
• for working on soft wall tiles,
• for dry sanding and scraping of small
surfaces.
For some of these applications, mate-
rial-related accessories must be pur-
chased from specialist dealers.

All other applications are expressly
excluded and are not valid applications
of intended use.
The manufacturer or dealer assumes no
liability for injuries, losses or damage
caused by improper or incorrect use.
Possible examples of improper or incor-
rect use are:
• Use of the multi-tool for purposes
other than those for which it is intend-
ed;
• Use of the multi-tool as a polishing
machine;
• Failure to observe the safety instruc-
tions and warnings and the installation,
operating, maintenance and cleaning
instructions contained in these operat-
ing instructions;
• Failure to comply with any regulations
specific to the use of the multi-tool and
/ or generally applicable accident pre-
vention, occupational health or safety
regulations;
• Use of accessories and spare parts not
intended for the multi-tool;
• Modifications to the multi-tool;
• Repair of the multi-tool by someone
other than the manufacturer or a spe-
cialist;
• commercial, artisanal or industrial use
of the multi-tool;

Residual risks

Unapparent residual risks cannot be
excluded despite the proper use of the
product.
