8 Maintenance and cleaning

the appliance is not connected
to the electric power supply and
that there is no risk of this
accidentally happening. For all
maintenance
please disconnect the electric
power supply.

Resetting safety devices

The appliance is equipped with a safety
thermostat. This manual-reset device is
tripped by overtemperatures.
To reset the protective device:
 Disconnect the appliance from the
electric power supply;
 Remove any air ducts (see section 5.2);
 Remove the top cover, first unscrewing
the screws holding it in place (Fig. 18);
 Manually reset the safety thermostat
from above (Fig. 19). If the device is
tripped, the central
thermostat protrudes by approximately 4
mm.
 Refit the top cover.
