MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

8.1
Resetting safety devices
The
appliance
is
equipped
thermostat. This manual-reset device is tripped by
overtemperatures.
To reset the protective device:
Disconnect the appliance from the electric
power supply;
Remove any air ducts (see section 5.2);
Remove the top cover, first unscrewing the
screws holding it in place (Fig. 17);
Manually reset the safety thermostat from
above (Fig. 18). If the device is tripped, the
central pin on the thermostat protrudes by
approximately 4 mm. The button is protected
by a metal plate to the side of the display.
Refit the top cover.

WARNING: the safety thermostat may
be triggered by a fault in the control
board or by a lack of water in the tank.
