Cleaning and storage
ATTENTION!
❐ Prior to each cleaning, pull the plug out of the socket.
❐ Never immerse the device, the mains cord or the plug in water.
❐ The plates are not suitable for the dishwasher.
❐ Do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads to clean the device.
They could damage the surface of the device or the coating of the plates.
❐ Never wind the mains cord tightly around the device when storing it.
1. Ensure that the device has completely cooled down and is deactivated!
2. Remove the plates from the device and clean the device with a damp cloth and a
small amount of mild cleaner. Then dry the device with a soft towel.
3. Clean the plates with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent. If some
residue is diffi cult to remove, soak the plates for a while in warm soapy water to
soften the hardened residues. Then dry the plates thoroughly before you store them.
4. Store the device and the plates in a clean, dry area that is not exposed to direct
sunlight and not accessible to children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst. Otherwise contact the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!
Problem
The device is not working.
The green power LED
illuminates and turns off
during use.
Possible cause / solution

Is the mains plug properly connected with the
socket?

Is the socket defective?
Try another socket.
•
Check the fuse for your mains connection.
The green power LED may turn on and off
during the baking process. If the green power
LED illuminates, this indicates that the device is
reheating to maintain a constant temperature. This
is not a malfunction!
