Cleaning and storage

ATTENTION!
■ Prior to each cleaning, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
■ Make sure that the device, the mains cord or the plug do not fall in and do not come
into contact with water or other liquids respectively.
■ Clean the device immediately after every use to prevent the build-up of germs.
■ When cleaning, do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners. They could damage
the surface.
1. Ensure that the product is disconnected from the mains!
2. Remove all accessories used from the main unit.
3. Clean all accessories used with plain, warm water and a small amount of mild detergent.
Notice: The lid of the mixing bowl, the sausage and pasta attachments as well as the
ml measuring cup, the lid and the glass mixing container (without the gasket, blade
insert and receptacle) can also be cleaned in the dishwasher. The main unit and all
metal accessories must not be cleaned in the dishwasher.
4. Clean the base unit with a damp, soft cloth and dry it with a soft cloth.
5. Let all parts dry completely before reassembling the product and/or stowing it in a
clean, dry area that is not accessible to children.
The plunger can be opened and used for storing the accessories (mincing discs,
pasta attachments etc.).

Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!

Possible cause/solution
• Is the mains plug properly connected with the socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
• Is the device activated?
• Have the covers been fi tted in the main unit? When the mincer
adapter or stand mixer are not in use, the covers must be
fi tted in the main unit.
• Has the mixing bowl been properly fi tted and has the mixing
arm locked into the bottom position?
