Cleaning and Storage

ATTENTION!
■ Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before cleaning the device! Wait until
the motor has come to a standstill before you take apart the device and clean it.
■ Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids! Ensure that the motor unit,
mains cable or mains plug do not fall into water or become wet.
■ The blades in the inserts are sharp! Be careful when handling the inserts in order to
prevent any cuts. You should only ever touch them by the plastic parts.
■ After every use, thoroughly clean the device and accessories immediately with warm
water and a little mild detergent to prevent the formation of germs. Do not allow any
food residues to dry on.
■ The motor unit is not suitable for being cleaned in the dishwasher!
■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface.
• Pull the rotary disc (2) off the motor unit (1).
• Clean all accessory parts with clear, hot water and a little mild detergent or in the
dishwasher.
• Wipe the motor unit (1) with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly.
• Allow all parts to dry completely before assembling the device again and / or putting it
away for storage. Store the device and all accessories in a dry, clean place that is not
accessible to children and animals.

Troubleshooting

If the device stops working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
If the device will not switch on, check the following:
• Is the mains plug inserted in the plug socket correctly?
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another socket.
• Has the fuse of your mains connection been activated?

You can store away the motor unit (1) and the
accessories in the collecting container (5) to
save space. Place the storage lid (3) on so that
the accessories can be stored without any dust.
