3. Prepare the food in the pan in the usual way. Make sure that you do not overfi ll the
pan so that the bottom heating elements are not contaminated by fat / oil dripping
down.
4. When the set time has elapsed, a buzzer is heard and the device automatically stops
any further supply of heat. Then turn all dials to AUS (off).
5. If you want to stop the heating process prematurely, turn the timer to the AUS (off)
position to switch off the device. Then turn all dials to AUS (off).

Care and Storage

CAUTION!
The device and accessories are hot after use! Let them cool down fi rst before clean-
ing them.
The glass jug, the permanent fi lter and the fi lter compartment are dishwasher-safe.
All other parts may not be cleaned in the dishwasher!
Never immerse the device, the power cable or plug in water.
Danger to life from electric shock! Remove the mains plug from the plug socket
before doing any cleaning. Never immerse the device, the mains cable or plug in
water. Never put the device in the dishwasher.
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface.
1. Make sure that the device is switched off and not connected to the mains power.
2. Flip up the water tank cover and remove the fi lter compartment by fl ipping it to the
side, pulling it up slightly and removing fi rst the bottom and then the top locking lug.
3. Remove the used fi lter and dispose of the coffee powder that has been used in the
domestic waste.
4. Remove the glass jug from the hotplate.
5. Open the glass door and remove the baking tray from the oven if necessary. After
each use, remove all food residues from the baking tray and rack.
6. Remove the pan from the holder. After use, remove all food residues from the pan.
7. Clean the device and all accessories with warm water and mild detergent. The glass
jug, the permanent fi lter and the fi lter compartment can also be cleaned in the dish-
washer.
8. Allow all parts to dry completely before you insert them back into the device.
9. If necessary, clean the device housing using a slightly damp cloth.
If you want to descale the water tank and the lines, you can add a commercial
descaling agent for coffee machines to the water. Also note the manufacturer's
instructions on how to do this. After descaling, you should rinse out the water
tank with water and perform at least one cleaning cycle just with water,
without descaling agent, in the water tank.
